IMPORTANT NOTICE:
TO ENHANCE THE USE OF THE GPS UNIT.
When you turn on your unit for the first time, or if you have not used it for several weeks, you may need to allow several additional minutes so that the device can update its location. This is standard on all GPS units.
Leave the unit on, where it will be able to have a clear view of the sky, for approximately 15 minutes to enable a download of some basic GPS satellite information, which will be retained in the unit.
This will help the unit start up much more quickly on subsequent uses.
