The clamp-type test prod includes a two-part test terminal. The springmounted stainless steel tip can be used to contact insulated leads (conductor cross-section 0.25mm2 to 1.5mm2, maximum outside diameter 3.5mm) without causing permanent damage to the conductor sheath. The 4mm dia.socket is made of brass.
